Over the years, RI has become recognized as a pioneer in data-driven production technologies for digital print. That’s why in 2000, Xerox Corporation selected RI as an alpha test site for its commercial digital press, the iGen3. We were also one of the first companies to design and build our own proprietary web-to-print systems, enabling clients to order and manage customized marketing collateral online.

Today, we’ve expanded and integrated our data-driven, 1:1 production technologies to other media. The platform is supported by RI’s robust digital-asset management system, which allows us to efficiently store, tag and access thousands of digital assets (e.g., logos, pictures, copy blocks) for dynamic placement in our clients’ graphic design and HTML templates. Continual updating of your digital assets ensures that your brand is never compromised with outdated content and imagery.

 
Digital printing allows direct-mail campaigns to be customized with content and images that specifically address your clients’ needs. Print quality is nearly indistinguishable from offset. RI’s in-house printing and mailing division operates four digital presses--three Xerox iGen3s and one Xerox 6060. Combined production capacity totals millions of monthly impressions.
 
Email can be creatively combined with other communication channels to maximize a campaign’s overall ROI. RI’s data-driven production and technology platform can effortlessly integrate print and email campaigns with the same look and feel. Plus, RI owns and manages its own email-delivery server and maintains direct relations with ISPs, which translates into better delivery rates and reporting on metrics.
 
We offer deep experience using PURLs (Personalized URLs) as calls-to-action in printed materials. With a PURL each addressee is referred to a unique web page address containing his or her name. All content, graphics and offers on the page are customized for that prospect, dramatically increasing the relevance of your message. A PURL also provides a platform for posing questions, the answers to which can fuel future prospecting campaigns with greater relevancy and more meaningful offers.

The ability to track PURLs is an additional benefit. You’ll immediately see who clicks through. As a prospect shows additional preferences via responses or behavior, the PURL can be customized multiple times.
 
RI’s data-driven platform allows customized messages to be sent directly to an individual’s cell phone or PDA. As global positioning becomes a more common feature in the 2.5 billion mobile phones in use throughout the world, this emerging channel will present marketers with abundant opportunites for delivering relevant communications.
